INTRODUCTION
This page lists various sources in the area for native plants. Note that many of the nurseries are not dedicated exclusively to California natives, and many of them offer catalogs, seeds, and books as well as potted plants. If you are new to native gardening, see also our New to Natives page.
OUR CHAPTER'S ANNUAL PLANT SALE
Native Plants for Foothill Gardens
A Saturday in November 2012, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Eaton Canyon Nature Center, 1750 Altadena Drive, Pasadena, CA
A good variety of reasonably priced California native plants and wildflower seeds appropriate for gardens in the Los Angeles basin will be available, including plants for attracting birds and butterflies to your home garden. Knowledgeable Chapter members will be on hand to answer questions.

Then, one week after the plant sale . . .
Native plant gardening workshop, one week after the plant sale
This will be a demonstration of how to plant natives, where attendees will gain hands-on experience. The workshop is free, and will be at Eaton Canyon Nature Center, in the Becky Rothenberg Memorial Garden, at 3 p.m. Bring work gloves and appropriate shoes, and wear comfortable clothes. Tools will be provided.

It takes a lor of people to make the plant sale work as successfully as it has in recent years. Volunteers, members or non-members, are welcome. If your can help, even for only a few hours, please send us a message via our Contact Us page. Helpers are needed on two days:
- Friday: Unload plants and arrange them on the Nature Center patio
- Saturday: A variety of activities throughout the day
